Eric Pulier’s New Plan For Mobile Apps

Eric Pulier has left some previous positions he’s held to become part of a new mobile development company known as vAtomic Systems, Inc. This company is about finding gaming apps that use features that could also be brought to life in real scenarios. Pulier also has said he’s a believer in financial advances such as Bitcoin and blockchain technology which could greatly disrupt the economy as we know it. Pulier is also encouraging young people to use their programming scientific skills to make dreams come true at XPrize, a competition foundation where he works with the Board of Innovation.

Eric Pulier is a computer innovator who grew up in Teaneck, NJ and took his talents to the next level by building a database company in high school. From there he became a top literature student who took programming classes on the side at Harvard. As a student at Harvard he also compiled many opinion pieces and satire for the famous “Harvard Crimson” newspaper. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1988 and began his IT career just three years later.

Eric Pulier moved to Los Angeles and led a group of fellow IT grads to form People Doing Things which eventually became an interactive media company known as Digital Evolution. In 1998 that company was merged with US Interactive where Pulier became chairman. During this time Pulier worked with President Clinton’s administration inclduing overseeing the Presidential Technology Exhibition, a celebration as part of the 1996 reelection. Pulier also brought US Interactive to Starbright World, a social media and virtual reality program for children’s hospitals around the nation.

Pulier founded three service-oriented architecture (SOA) companies in the 2000s and also focused in on cloud computing, a growing trend. Those companies were Akana, Desktone and ServiceMesh. Desktone was later bought by VMware and ServiceMesh by the Computer Sciences Corp. Pulier also formed the Cloud Enterprise Leadership Council as part of TM Forum and is a co-author of the book “Understanding Enterprise SOA.” Pulier has appeared in technology magazines and websites such as AdWeekly and VAR Business and was once named as a Top 30 eVisionary.
